Since Joining Clevry around 10 months ago, Ahti has hit the ground running. Despite thinking that sales would never be his dream job, he is now thoroughly enjoying and excelling in his role as an Account Manager.

 

‘’Since day one of my adult life, I have had multiple goals for my career. And let’s be honest sales wasn’t one of them. Today I work as an Account Manager at Clevry and I couldn’t be any happier. And what do I do daily? Well, B2B-sales.’’

 

In his job as an Account Manager, Ahti spends his time meeting clients, managing their needs and keeping them happy.

‘’My daily routine simplified is the following: first I pick up the phone and book a meeting, meet the client, and try to prove our service as the best possible option for most occasions. Does it always go as planned? No and it even shouldn’t. You repeat, repeat, and repeat and at the end of the week you might have something to be proud of. In sales it really doesn’t matter are the daily achievements big or small, nonetheless you’ll be rewarded with a rush straight to your brain. And this is something where it is OK to get addicted,’’ says Ahti.

 

When asked how he would describe the company, Ahti was glowing with praise for both his colleagues and the company culture. Describing Clevry as an ‘’excellent one stop recruitment service with a cross-border twist.’’ Ahti continued, ‘’but if I would have to paint a picture of Clevry from the employee point of view it would be quite different. Every individual is responsible of our community as well as the common goals. We celebrate our biggest achievements and losses and make sure everyone is accepted as they are. Even though we have globally more than 150 experts, we are all committed to our values to ensure safe and encouraging work environment. And did I mention the after-work parties and other employee benefits?’’

After initially joining Clevry, Ahti was surprised by the inspiring organisational culture and motivational atmosphere between colleagues.

 

He went on to say, ‘’It has now been almost 10 months since I joined Clevry. In those 283 days I have learned at least as many new things of our service and the market we operate in. And the count still goes on. But the best individual knowledge I have learned at Clevry is that with a correct motivation and attitude only the sky is the limit. Support is always near, and the onboarding period was superb. I have been given every possible tool to be successful in my everyday tasks. Even though working remote is always an option, coming daily to our office in the center of Helsinki is just what I need. Nice colleagues and inspiring atmosphere are the things I crave for.’’  

 

Despite only being at Clevry for a short amount of time, Ahti has had a number of memorable moments, including winning a prize in our community awards.

 

‘’For me, the best moments have been, without a doubt, the two community awards, first in April and the second in august. Although neither had anything to do with sales I really appreciate the acknowledgment from our work community. Like I said, I never thought sales would be my dream job, not to mention cold calling, which gave me chills few years ago. This year I managed to seize the semi-annual country battle prize with most cold call bookings! Surprised? Well, that makes two of us.’’
