Andreas Dajen

Head of Sales Sweden

It was a coincidence that Andreas ended up in the recruitment industry, working as a consultant manager in another recruiting firm. Andreas later got headhunted, and after each interview, he became more and more confident that it was time for him to take the next step in his career.

“It felt like I had met good people with good ideas, and my belief is that with good people you can achieve great things! At the same time, the job should suit your personality and be challenging, and for me, it was important that I had a good manager”, says Andreas.

Since then, Andreas has had a long internal career at Clevry, where he first stepped into the role of Sales Manager, a role he held for 5 years before going on paternity leave. When he returned, he received an offer to become CEO for Sharper, one of our old subsidiary companies, before merging to Clevry. Then Andreas took the role as Vice President of People, which he holds today.

“What a journey it has been, and not to say a cultural one! When I joined the company, Clevry was a much smaller actor on the market, and I, together with others in the company, was given the confidence to build the best organisational culture in the industry at an early stage, which I believe was the biggest challenge, but also the greatest satisfaction. We went from a small, undeveloped company to a thriving company with a very strong culture and a high level of knowledge, and I am so incredibly proud to have been a part of it”, says Andreas with a smile.

In March, Andreas will enter a new role as Head of Sales Sweden, where he will again be the manager of the Swedish sales department. 

“I believe that sales always have been my ambition, it is how I started, and I have felt that I wasn’t done with it. I find it very interesting and educational; you can follow trends within the society and follow a whole labour market, and we can create jobs in this market, which is so incredibly nice! We can create benefits for individuals and whole societies and drive welfare with our product. It becomes very straightforward”, Andreas says.

Andreas explains how important it is that everyone works towards the same goal within the company, regardless of which department they operate in, and how important it is to keep that in mind.

There haven't been strong hierarchies and very few boundaries if you want to develop. I look forward to continuing to be a part of developing the future leaders of this company and want to stay on this road with a close leadership without hieratic obstacles”, Andreas continues. 

You can tell that Andreas is proud of the company that Clevry has become, and he describes it as “having seen his baby grow up”. 

What I’m doing together with my colleagues is extremely important. That is the momentum, that what you do should feel important, and I believe it does,” Andreas concludes.
