Elina Nikander

Sales Development Representative, Finland

Elina had just finished her studies in the late fall of 2020 and moved to Finland from Estonia when she started looking for sales jobs. One day, while on LinkedIn, she noticed an opportunity as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Clevry and read more about the role and company. 

“I started selling magazines over the phone when I was 16, and I've always enjoyed working in sales and the feeling of success that it gives you. Since I just graduated and was looking for a new job myself, I was impressed with Clevry’s way of pairing candidates with the right company and job opportunity because this was the beginning of the Covid-pandemic,” says Elina. 

Elina remembers her onboarding period, how happily surprised she was with the people, and how welcoming they were.  

“I immediately got along with my team, and I was impressed with the atmosphere and energy you got from being at the office. I knew right away that I would thrive here,” Elina continues. 

In her job as SDR, Elina spends her time prospecting potential clients, reaching out to them and booking meetings for the Account Managers in her team.  

“We are the first contact between the customer and the first ones telling them about Clevry. I would even say we are the roots of the entire sales cycle. I get to be successful in my role, have fruitful conversations with customers and achieve my targets. I have learned to be more persuasive, listening, and patient'’. 

Elina smiles when she thinks about her best memories within the organisation and realises that she cannot just pick one.   

“There have been so many great ones. We organise many events together, which I think is great. Weekly sports activities and after work on Fridays, to mention a few. I’d say that the best things with Clevry are the people and the company culture. Clevry is an organisation with great opportunities for career development. Everyone cares about the company, believes in our products, and wants to be a part of the company's development. The best things of all are that we are given a chance to do so and are encouraged and rewarded for success. On top of this, working at Clevry is really fun. This is truly a joyful place to work,” Elina concludes.
