Consultant Care Specialist, Sweden

“ You get an overview of the entire business and collaborate a little with everyone, which means you can notice shortcomings and potential for efficiency more clearly.”

Hanna’s first contact with Clevry appeared through her applying for a consultant role. She studied human recourses and was searching for a part-time job during her studies and had applied to a couple of different ones, including a consultant role within finance and administration that Clevry had open for one of their clients. When Hanna came to her first interview, the consultant manager mentioned that Clevry was in the process of recruiting for part-time roles internally.

“We had a dialogue if this role also could be of interest, and I was honest that it was more appealing to me since it was more in line with my studies,” says Hanna.

Hanna still went to a second interview with the customer and got the job. After a short while, the company made a reorganisation, and the need for Hanna’s role disappeared.

“Maybe it was meant to be because they had just started the recruitment process internally at Clevry. Since I continuously had contact with my consultant manager who knew that I was available, I got to start right away”, says Hanna.

Hanna worked some time as a recruiting assistant when she was asked if she'd be interested in working in Clevry’s new department, Consultant Care. She describes the role as an entirely new way of working compared to being a recruitment assistant.

“We have daily contact with consultants, support consultant managers, work closely with the finance department and have some contact with sales. When I started, we were three part-time employees, and basically, all our time was spent fixing employment contracts, time reporting and various daily tasks. But now that we have become two full-time employees, we can work more strategically”, Hanna explains.

Hanna describes her role in consultant care as a unique role that is both supporting and educational. She is involved in HR related issues daily, and she has a great opportunity to streamline processes.

“You get an overview of the entire business and collaborate a little with everyone, which means you can notice shortcomings and potential for efficiency more clearly. For example, we get recurring questions about the same things; then we have to make sure that it becomes more understandable and explained better”, Hanna continues.

Hanna concludes by telling about how she has been able to influence her role and what she thinks the benefits of working in a flat organisation are.

“Clevry encourages you to be self-learning, and you get the opportunity to develop and influence processes. I feel people are listening to you. If you can motivate why you want to make a change and what the effects will be, you will receive the opportunity to make that change, which has helped develop me”, Hanna sums up.
