Studentwork is looking for an enthusiastic talent to join our client Fortum’s Group Communications as a Social Media Trainee. In this role you are responsible for producing content, managing social media communities and measuring, monitoring and reporting social media content performance. You act as a point of contact for other content creators and help ensuring that all content aligns with the overall strategy and deliver results.
Length of the traineeship is six months, and it is open only for university level students. Position is located in Espoo, Finland, at Fortum head office. The position is fulltime and the starting date is in the middle of August.
Main tasks
• Produce content for our social media channels in Finnish and English
• Manage communities on our channels in Finnish and English
• Help manage social media marketing campaigns
• Follow, measure and report content performance
• Schedule and organise content
• Partner with social media managers and content producers to develop social media channels and performance
• Research trends, audiences and more
Our expectations
• Experience with proven results in content production and community management
• Excellent writing skills in Finnish and English with the ability to turn traditional marketing content into engaging and brand relevant conversations
• Understanding of measuring social media performance
• Knowledge of social platforms and tools (i.e. Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Twitter Ads)
• Knowledge of social media advertising
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and trends
• Currently pursuing university level degree
• Fluent Finnish and English skills are needed
