We at Clevry are looking for a Mechanical Engineer for our client Metso: Outotec, Espoo. The position is full-time (37,5h per week) with a permanent contract, and you will be employed via Clevry. The start date for this position will be as soon as a suitable person is found.
In the role of a Mechanical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to participate in diverse, international, and varied Flotation product design projects. The team ensures that equipment designs throughout their product portfolio are safe, relevant, sustainable, reliable and cost-competitive. Your day-to-day tasks will include mechanical designing, technical drawing, and 3D designing using SolidWorks. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and provide support around the Flotation product globally. Your team will consist of about 15 people, with varied levels of experience and you will receive comprehensive training for the role.
A study background in mechanical engineering (BSc/MSc) provides a good foundation for the position. We expect some previous experience in mechanical design, for example through summer jobs or other projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a range of projects and gain experience in mechanical design. You will be working with a supportive team, including experienced designers!

Job duties and responsibilities
- Mechanical designing, technical drawing, and 3D designing using SolidWorks.
- Supporting the product team and other internal stakeholders.
We expect
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. mechanical engineering).
- About one to two years of relevant work experience (e.g. machine design, product development, solid mechanics or similar).
- Experience with SolidWorks. Knowledge of other 3D CAD or PLM/PDM software is also seen as an advantage.
- Fluency in the English language. Finnish and other language skills are seen as an advantage.
- Ability to prioritize and complete assigned tasks in the time allotted with minimal supervision.
