As a Project Engineer, you are responsible for finding the best technical solution for heavy lifts, special transports, and jacking and skidding works. As part of the team, you will gain a wide perspective on Havator’s projects and have a significant role in them.
In this role, you become an essential part of a team of engineers, and you will work closely with various stakeholders from clients to sales and project management. The person we are looking for has a strong interest in heavy machinery, and strong interpersonal skills as well as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related field.

Main tasks
- Finding the best technical and cost-effective solution for heavy lifts, special transports, and jacking and skidding works
- Working in close cooperation with various stakeholders, such as sales and project management
- CAD-based planning
- Studying equipment at Havator, creating a deeper understanding of Havator’s fleet capabilities
- Performing site visits
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related field
- Strong interest in the heavy machinery industry
- Good technical and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English as well as excellent skills in Finnish or Swedish
- Experience with Autodesk’s Engineering and Construction software (e.g., AutoCAD, Navisworks, Inventor, 3ds MAX)
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Willingness to travel to project sites in Nordic countries is required
