We at Clevry are looking for a Product Design Specialist for Uponor to work with product development! The position is full-time with a permanent contract. You will be hired directly for Uponor. The start date for this position will be as soon as possible. You can either work at an office in Vantaa or Nastola. Work is flexible but working only remotely is not possible.
As a Product Design Specialist, you will manage new product development projects with the rest of the team. Your mission is to develop and create CAD / 2D drawings and 3D CAD models for new products. Also, you will act as the owner for creating technical product data and product design in PDM/Windchill-system for the new products. The person we are looking for has experience in project work and professional English language skills. Success in the job requires experience with challenging design problems and work experience with CAD tools.

Main tasks

Manage new product development projects with the support from the team

Act as the owner for developing and creating CAD/2D drawings and 3D CAD models for the new products

Act as the owner for creating technical product data and product design in PDM/Windchill-system for the new products

Be in charge of the necessary testing to guarantee the processability and quality of the new products

Make feasibility studies and concept designs for new product ideas
We expect

B. B.Sc or M.Sc in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics, Material technology, or other relevant field of study

Skills and experience in working with CAD tools (SolidWorks, Inventor or Creo)

Good communication skills with ability to create documentation and reports
