We at Clevry are looking for a Business Analyst, Procurement, for our client Metso Outotec, Helsinki. The office location will change to Espoo, Matinkylä during the year 2023. The position is full-time (37,5h per week) with a permanent contract, and you will be employed via Clevry. The start date for this position will be as soon as possible in January 2023.
As a Business Analyst, Procurement you will join in the international Business Analytics team of ten people. The purpose of the role is to enable a high-performing procurement organization through the provision of transparent and compelling analytics.

As a Business Analyst, Procurement you will
- Maintain and govern procurement spending and savings reporting
- Support Indirect procurement analytics and develop category visibility
- Develop procurement KPI structures on MO group level, support in identifying opportunities and actions for continuous improvement by means of analysis of performance and internal KPI data
- Master procurement analytics tools, act as super user and actively seek to improve utilization of self-serving analytics across the procurement network
- Perform thorough, systematic financial, statistical, and qualitative data analysis
- Actively strive for best practice / continuous process improvement and drive development to improve efficiency
- Together with the Supply Chain Analyst, identifyy early warning indicators for supply market risk (disruptions, increasing prices, capacity constraints) and define implications on the organization’s supply chains
- Together with Data Analysts, evaluate data need and translate data into effective, clear, and compelling reports and visualization to support procurement strategy
- Maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring internal customer satisfaction as well as taking ownership and leading corrective actions
- Work with internal business customers to increase data and analytics literacy
- Contribute to the strategy and vision for the business analytics department
- Good analytical skills (cost comparisons, trend analysis, pivots, charting), comfortable with figures and in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data.
- Ability to handle large amounts of data while maintaining the perspective of the big picture
- Good competence with Microsoft office (expert level in MS Excel) and SAP MM
- Sievo, SAP S4H and Power BI know how is a plus
- Good understanding of procurement fundamentals
- Creativity to find new solutions in a developing environment
- Driving for results, highly self-directed, ability to work independently with good team working and cooperation skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Be successfully able to work with others in a matrix from a range of cultures within a diverse environment
