We at Clevry are looking for a Financial Controller for our client M-Brain. The position is full-time and permanent and is located in Helsinki. You will be employed directly by M-Brain. The starting date for this position is as soon as a suitable candidate is found.
As a Financial Controller you will be responsible for the group consolidation process independently. You play an important role in supporting the company's management with high-quality reporting. One of your first priorities is to implement a new consolidation system. You’ll be participating actively in the development of the financial processes and reporting. We are looking for a person who has expertise in group accounting and consolidation.

Key responsibilities
- To manage and develop the group consolidation process (IC eliminations, purchase price calculations, equity eliminations, etc.)
- Implementation of a new group consolidation system and in the future a new planning system
- Consolidation/planning system superuser
- Preparation of M-Brain’s consolidated financial statements (IFRS)
- To coordinate the auditing of the M-Brain Group
- Monthly reporting to Monterro (owner of M-Brain Group)
- To participate in the management reporting and develop the group processes
We expect
- Relevant academic education in finance, accounting, economics etc.
- Previous work experience (3-5 years) of similar tasks as a controller or a diverse background in financial management tasks
- Experience in consolidation and knowledge of IFRS standards
- Analytical, systematic, and solution-orientated mindset
- Good tolerance for pressure and ability to work with still adjusting processes and procedures
- Excellent written and spoken English skills. Finnish is seen as an advantage
