We at Clevry are looking for a Sales Trader to our client Fortum. The position is fulltime and permanent and you’ll be employed via Clevry. The job is located in Espoo Keilaranta and you will also have a possibility to work hybrid.
Fortum’s Trading and Asset Optimisation (TAO) organisation optimises the best price for electricity production and consumption and hedges earnings from these operations with commodity derivatives far into the future. About 95 TWh of physical electricity trading and about 200 TWh of trading in commodity derivatives pass through TAO each year.
Responsible for hedging of Fortum’s production and sales portfolios and for financial commodities trading execution. Serve Fortum’s bilateral trading customers and counterparties and create added value to Fortum’s portfolios through efficient trade execution. Assignments will also involve contributing to further development of our sales trading business and related tools and processes.

- Degree from relevant field (e.g. economics)
- Knowledge of interest rate derivatives, capital and stock market and banking products
- Fluency in Finnish and English, other Nordic languages are a plus
